Dr. Veronica Hurtado is a Board certified Obstetric and Gynecologist with more than 15 years of experience in the medical field. Her academic achievements have allowed her to excel everywhere she goes.
She was awarded Valedictorian when graduated from Medical School and obtained a “Summa Cum Laude” honor from Central University in Venezuela for her Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty.
In the United States, Dr. Veronica Hurtado obtained the highest score during her OBGYN Residency program at the University of Texas where she completed her training.
Her goal is to provide evidence –based medicine to her patients with compassion, knowledge and skills while developing and open and honest relationships with her patients. With her knowledge and experience she provides a exceptional prenatal care for low and high risk patients.
As a generalist in the OBGYN field, she provides routine screening, prevention, medical and surgical treatment for the majority of female health needs.
She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, hence fluent in both Spanish and English. She is one of four siblings where she was always encouraged to pursue her dreams and her service vocation. Dr. Veronica Hurtado is an example of perseverance, courage and dedication to the art of medicine. She has one daughter named Sarah and loves to spend time with her family, as well as cooking, baking, playing board games and enjoying the company of her pets (Pulga and Lucky).
